"The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar successfully completed its Twin Club Agreement with the Rotaract Club of Colombo Citadel, R.I. District 3220, by fulfilling all the requirements and criteria laid down by both districts. This international collaboration created a valuable platform for both clubs to connect, learn from one another, and strengthen global fellowship while working towards common goals.
Throughout the agreement period, both clubs actively engaged in several collaborative activities, including Joint General Body Meetings, Joint Board Meetings, and interactive online sessions focused on understanding each other's culture, traditions, and club practices. These interactions helped members build meaningful friendships, exchange ideas, and gain insights into the Rotaract experience beyond their own district and country.
A major outcome of this partnership was the successful execution of “Brushes of Hope,” a joint initiative through which both clubs collaborated to beautify a government school by painting classrooms and creating educational murals. More than just completing a set of requirements, the Twin Club Agreement became a journey of friendship, service, and shared learning. It stands as a true reflection of the fact that Rotaract has no borders, proving that meaningful connections, impactful service, and lasting partnerships can be built across countries through the spirit of Rotaract."
