Scholarship Awards Programme

"The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar joined Rotary Bangalore South on 30th November for the Scholarship Awards Programme held at VVN Auditorium. Our club efficiently managed the entire volunteering segment of the event, handling responsibilities from student registrations at the beginning to overall coordination until the conclusion of the programme.

The primary objective of the event was to support deserving medical and degree students by awarding scholarships of ₹15,000 to selected candidates. Following breakfast, the registration process commenced, after which the programme officially began. The event featured inspiring speeches from Rotarians and esteemed guests, motivating the students and acknowledging their dedication and hard work.

In addition to the scholarship amount of ₹15,000, all students were also gifted copies of the Bhagavad Gita, symbolizing guidance, wisdom, and encouragement for their personal and academic journey.

Many students expressed their gratitude for this meaningful initiative. Our club president, Rtr. Gouthami Parthasarathy, addressed the gathering and shared insights about Rotaract, its purpose, opportunities, and how students can become part of the movement to contribute positively to society.

After the formal proceedings, the event was adjourned, and a delicious lunch was arranged for all attendees, bringing the programme to a warm and satisfying close.
