"The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar, in joint collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Atria Institute of Technology, proudly observed World Elephant Day through the event No Seal No Deal at Bannerghatta National Park. With 15 Rotaractors participating, the initiative showcased not only our commitment to wildlife conservation but also the power of youth-driven action in building public awareness.
The event was graced by eminent dignitaries including Sri K. Prakash, IPoS, Chief Postmaster General of Karnataka Circle, PP. Rtr. Ajay Kumar S, Joint Secretary RID 3191, retired mahouts Sri Mota and Sri Bhasker, along with officials of Bannerghatta National Park. A pre-session highlighted the timeless bond between elephants and their mahouts, with the retired mahouts sharing personal stories from their decades of service, leaving a lasting impact on all present.
The landmark moment of the day was the official release of a special elephant-themed postcard by India Post in association with Bannerghatta National Park. Carrying the logos of India Post, Bannerghatta, and both Rotaract clubs, this postcard stands as a historic achievement for our club, a tangible symbol that places the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar onto a larger public platform. With circulation through India Post, this postcard ensures that our club’s name and logo will travel far and wide, strengthening our public image and positioning Rotaract as a key contributor to impactful causes.
The event concluded with engaging discussions, memorable photographs, and an overwhelming sense of pride. No Seal No Deal not only celebrated the majesty of elephants but also elevated the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar’s visibility to an unprecedented level, marking it as one of the strongest public image milestones in our club’s history."
