INTERNATIONAL SERVICE
"Quiz & Connect was an international service initiative hosted by the Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar on 16th January, with the objective of strengthening members’ understanding of Rotaract and Rotary International while fostering bonding, teamwork, and cross-club interaction. A major focus of the project was Peace and Conflict Resolution, one of Rotary’s core Areas of Focus, aimed at creating awareness and deeper understanding through engaging and participatory learning.
The session began with an icebreaker game of Skribbl, which helped create a lively and comfortable atmosphere for interaction. This was followed by a structured quiz covering Rotaract, Rotary International, and a dedicated segment on Peace and Conflict Resolution. Scenario-based questions played a key role in helping participants analyse real-life situations, discuss different perspectives, and understand constructive approaches to resolving conflicts. Fun segments such as Wrong Answers Only added creativity, humour, and active participation, keeping members engaged throughout.
The initiative resulted in clearer understanding of Peace and Conflict Resolution, improved awareness of Rotaract’s structure and values, stronger international bonding, and increased confidence among members to participate and express ideas.
Overall, Quiz & Connect successfully blended learning with fellowship, making it a meaningful, interactive, and impactful initiative for all involved."
