"The Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar participated in the District Governor’s Official Visit (GOV) hosted by our Partner Rotary, Rotary Bangalore South, on 30th November 2025 at Holiday Inn Bengaluru, Sheshadripuram. This distinguished gathering, held to review the year’s progress and acknowledge the contributions of both Rotary and Rotaract clubs, was graced by District Governor Rtn. Sridhar B R along with other notable dignitaries.
The meeting commenced shortly after 7:00 P.M. with an official call to order. This was followed by an engaging President’s Address delivered by Rtn. Shivram M R, setting the tone for the evening. Secretary Rtn. Usha Dongre then shared a detailed report outlining the club’s major projects, achievements, and upcoming plans. The introduction of the incoming core team for the next Rotary year added a moment of anticipation and excitement for future initiatives.
The event also coincided with a special milestone, the 59th anniversary of Rotary Bangalore South, celebrating nearly sixty years of impactful service and community leadership.
A notable highlight of the evening was the strong presence of the South Sister Clubs, Rotaract Club of Atria Institute of Technology, Rotaract Club of Bangalore Jayanagar, and Rotaract Club of R.V.C.E. Their collective participation reflected unity, collaboration, and a shared commitment to service.
District Governor Rtn. Sridhar B R delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the values of leadership, growth through service, and the influential role Rotary Bangalore South played in shaping his journey. The evening concluded with a warm vote of thanks, followed by a delightful dinner that encouraged fellowship, networking, and meaningful interaction among members.
Overall, the GOV served as an enriching platform for strengthening inter-club bonds, engaging with district leaders, exchanging perspectives, and drawing renewed inspiration for future projects."
